Arrest of Drug Dealer in Tripoli After Precise Monitoring

The Directorate General of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division reported that as part of its ongoing efforts to arrest drug dealers in various Lebanese regions, the Information Branch identified the identity of an active dealer in Tripoli, named A. A. (born in 1992, Lebanese), who had a warrant for drug trafficking and use. Orders were given for patrols to monitor and arrest him. On October 6, 2023, after precise surveillance, one of the patrols arrested him in the town of Al-Muhammara while he was riding a white motorbike, which was seized. Upon searching him and the motorbike, 45 capsules containing cocaine base were found. The motorbike was confiscated legally, and the appropriate legal actions were taken against the arrested individual and the seized items were submitted to the relevant authority, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.
