Turkey's Shelling Causes Power Substation in Tel Tamr to Go Offline

The Syrian news agency "SANA" reported that the electricity substation in the Tel Tamr area was taken offline this morning due to a "Turkish attack" targeting the power line supplying the station. The Director General of the Al-Hasakah Electricity Company, Engineer Saleh Idris, stated that "the station went offline due to the Turkish army targeting the (66 kV) line supplying the station with several shells in the Um al-Keef area in the Tel Tamr countryside, resulting in a power outage for the Tel Tamr area and the surrounding residential communities and villages." He noted that the company will make efforts to repair the line and restore service to the station as soon as possible. Since the beginning of this week, villages in the Tel Tamr countryside have been subjected to repeated shelling by Turkish forces, leading to material damage to homes and public and private properties.
