Karaki Directed the Payment of 27 Billion LBP for Kidney Patients' Treatment

The General Director of Social Security, Mohamed Karaki, instructed all financial departments to transfer the amounts due to hospitals for the treatment of dialysis patients, which totaled approximately 27 billion LBP for June 2023. This brings the total amount transferred for dialysis patients during 2023 to about 87 billion LBP. In this context, Karaki requested all hospitals to ensure they meet the payment conditions regarding their subscriptions and to secure the necessary clearance certificates, while also following up on processing their transactions in the fund's affiliated centers so they can receive their dues, whether for dialysis or regular hospital transactions.
