The Ministry of Energy and Water announced in a statement that "a public participation session will be held to present the study for determining the scope of the environmental impact assessment for a feasibility study for the establishment of a 70-megawatt concentrated solar power plant with 7.5 hours of energy storage in the Ras Baalbek area – Baalbek district. The session aims to review the components and environmental aspects of the study funded by the Dutch government through InvestInternational, with the attendance of representatives from relevant ministries, municipalities, and associations involved in the project. This will take place on August 31, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Ras Baalbek Municipal Building. Therefore, the Ministry of Energy and Water, in coordination with all stakeholders in the project, invites everyone to attend at the specified time to participate in this session. This announcement is a public invitation."
