British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak revealed on Sunday that his government is making "good progress" in reducing inflation, while outlining his priorities at the start of the annual conference of the ruling Conservative Party. Inflation in the UK is expected to drop to around five percent by the end of the year, which is half of its January level. Achieving this target means that Sunak has fulfilled one of the five key pledges he made at the beginning of the year. Sunak told the BBC, "Inflation makes people feel poorer, and the faster we reduce it, the better; that's why it's the right priority for us, and we are making good progress."
