The General Assembly of the Lawyers' Syndicate in Beirut convened at nine o'clock this morning to elect a chief and four members for the Syndicate Council at the Beirut Palace of Justice. Prior to the opening of the ballot boxes, it is noted that the voting process and the counting of results are conducted electronically, with 11 lawyers competing for the position of chief this year.
