Travel Ban for MPs by Party Order

The "vdlnews" site learned from high-ranking sources that a prominent political and party official has suddenly and firmly issued a "travel ban" to the members of his bloc, requiring them to remain in Lebanon in the coming period. It was reported that this official requested several MPs from his bloc to cancel their travel reservations to a European country, where they were supposed to represent their party at events. The party leader replaced them with party officials who are not MPs. Sources suggested that the reason for this measure might be related to a specific development regarding the presidential elections, or a concern for the MPs because "one MP could change the equation!"
