The Danish shipping company "Maersk" announced today, Wednesday, that "two ships flying the U.S. flag that were transiting the Bab el-Mandeb Strait northbound turned back after seeing nearby explosions." Maersk stated that "the two ships did not suffer any damage and their crews were unharmed, and that the U.S. Navy escorted them during their return to the Gulf of Aden."
