Saudi Energy Minister: Justification for Continued Engagement in Oil and Gas

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman stated on Sunday that there is justification for continuing involvement in the energy market. In a different topic, he mentioned that the trial operation of the first hydrogen-powered train in the Middle East will begin next week. In his speech during the Climate Week in the Middle East and North Africa held in Riyadh, he said, "It will be tested next week, and we hope to have the first hydrogen train in the Middle East in the coming months." He added that Saudi Arabia will launch "a local market mechanism that is credible, transparent, and adaptable" tomorrow, Monday, without going into details.
