The Russian film company "Central Partnership" plans to produce a new film titled "My Dog the Astronaut," scheduled for March 2025. The film tells the story of the friendship between a boy and a dog named "Belka" before his journey into space. Pavel Verishagin, the marketing director of the company, stated that "Central Partnership," in collaboration with "Zoom Production," will present "My Dog the Astronaut," which narrates the tale of a boy living in a closed city near the Russian "Baikonur" spaceport. He suffers from loneliness and has no friends, until one day he encounters a small dog and decides to raise him. This dog, Belka, then becomes a leading candidate for a space mission. The film is scheduled for release on March 20, 2025.
