Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, Deputy George Boshkian, affirmed to the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri, the depth of the historical relations between Lebanon and Italy, which is among the first countries with which Lebanon engages in commercial, industrial, cultural, and tourism exchanges. They also discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the regional landscape, exploring ways to develop relations and advance them further to secure and protect mutual interests. Boshkian announced the commitment of Lebanese industrialists, supported by the Ministry of Industry, to improve quality and adhere to specifications, enabling them to compete in European markets. This has been increasingly achieved compared to the previous period, due to a set of factors that facilitate cooperation between the public sector, namely the Ministry of Industry, and the private sector, referring to the industrial sector.
