America Commits to Providing $65 Million to Combat Gang Violence

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken pledged today, Friday, to provide an additional $65 million to assist the Haitian police struggling to address gang violence in the Caribbean nation. Blinken also urged the United Nations Security Council to officially support the deployment of a multinational security mission to aid the country's police.
