Minister of Justice Discussed Joint Cooperation with the EU Ambassador

Minister of Justice in the caretaker government, Henry Khoury, received the head of the European Union mission in Lebanon, Ambassador Sandra De Wael, today, Monday, in his office at the ministry, accompanied by an administrative delegation from the mission, in a protocol visit to mark her taking up her diplomatic duties in Lebanon. After the meeting, Minister Khoury thanked the European Union for the "sustained support it provides to Lebanon in all fields, and the readiness expressed by the delegation in this regard." In response to a question posed by Ambassador De Wael regarding the government's work in general, Khoury stated, "It is operating within the full powers granted to it as a caretaker government."
