Title: Tripoli Association for Disabled Sports Wins Lebanon Wheelchair Basketball Cup

Organized by the Lebanese Paralympic Committee and sponsored by the International Red Cross, the final of the Lebanon Wheelchair Basketball Cup took place at the President Fouad Chehab Sports Complex in Jounieh. The Tripoli Association for Disabled Sports (TDSS) won against the Nabatieh Club (Spinners) with a score of 37-25. The top scorers of the match were Osama Sahmarani from the Tripoli Association and Mustafa Khairaldin from the Nabatieh Club. At the end of the match, the Vice President of the Lebanese Basketball Federation Sami Nasser and the Secretary General of the Paralympic Committee Marwan Al-Amil presented the first place trophy and gold and silver medals to the winners. The final also included a tribute from the Lebanese Paralympic Committee to the Lebanese athlete Arz Zahreddine, who won the gold medal in the 200-meter race at the Francophonie Games held recently in Kinshasa.
