The Hamburg Airport in Germany announced today, Monday, that takeoffs and landings have been temporarily suspended due to measures being implemented by the police. "Due to a federal police measure, no takeoffs and landings are possible for a short time. Flight delays may occur. Please keep an eye on your flight status," the airport's social media account stated.
German news agency reported that a spokesperson for the airport said that flights have been suspended following a threat of an attack on an aircraft coming from the Iranian capital, Tehran. A spokesperson for the airport did not comment on the mentioned threat.
