Russia: Japan, US, and Australia Drills a "Potential Security Threat"

The Russian foreign ministry stated today, Thursday, that it considers the joint military exercises conducted by Japan, the United States, and Australia near Hokkaido Island a "potential military threat." The ministry said in a statement, "We consider such provocative activities involving countries from outside the region to be a potential security threat," adding that it has officially protested to the Japanese embassy in Russia.
