The French authorities have imposed restrictions on water consumption in 78 counties across the country, as reported by "Le Figaro." The report states: "The restrictions were imposed in mid-August and affected 78 counties, of which 40 are experiencing a crisis due to drought and water shortage." It adds: "In the event of a water crisis in France, a ban will be placed on filling private swimming pools, using water for washing cars, and watering gardens in sports fields, along with restrictions on water use in agriculture." The newspaper noted that since the beginning of the year, approximately 6,000 inspections have been conducted to verify compliance with water consumption regulations in France, revealing violations in 7% of the cases examined. France had previously declared a "climate threat" in 19 counties due to rising temperatures that could reach 40 degrees Celsius.
