Official media reported that "Jordan will host an international conference tomorrow, Thursday, involving major UN agencies and regional and international relief organizations to coordinate humanitarian assistance to Gaza." The reports added that "UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths, key UN agencies, and non-governmental organizations involved in increasing aid to Gaza will participate in the conference, along with representatives from Western and Arab countries involved in the aid efforts."
