The UN Security Council decided today, Thursday, unanimously to renew the mandate of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force in the Syrian Golan for six months until June 30, 2024. The decision, numbered 2718, requested the "Secretary-General to ensure that the UN Disengagement Observer Force has the necessary capabilities and resources to carry out its mandate safely and securely." The Security Council called on "the parties concerned to implement its resolution 338 dated October 22, 1973 immediately."
