Sudanese Army Announces Withdrawal of Forces from Wad Madani

The Sudanese army announced in a statement today, Tuesday, that it has withdrawn its forces from their positions in the city of Wad Madani, adding that it will investigate the reasons for the withdrawal. Earlier this week, the Rapid Support Forces, a paramilitary group, seized control of the overcrowded city of Wad Madani, which is considered a hub for aid.
