Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta praised his team's mentality after they secured a 3-1 victory against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. However, he stated that it is necessary to "find a way to settle matches earlier, rather than relying on magical moments at the end."
Arteta said, "I love the team's mentality, the determination, and the desire to win. The team dominated and deserved the victory, but the margins were very small, and things could have gone differently." He added, "The margins we have toward the end are not big enough, and this is something we need to work on improving, because you notice some tension, and we have to wait for a magical moment at the end. We do not want to rely on that."
Mikel Arteta following #ARSMUN: “We’ve been so dominant in games, against Fulham it was the same story. The team deserves more but it’s about competing. That will to win, what they put in at the end - the eagerness to go and go, and keep believing is beautiful."
