Turkish media reported today, Monday, that a fire broke out at a cultural center named "Erol Olçok" in Esenyurt, central Istanbul. A large number of firefighting crews were called to the scene in the Nip and Fazıl Kışakuri area. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it started on the roof of the four-story building and on its exterior surface.
Firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene, and while they continued to combat the blaze, smoke was visible from several kilometers away. The firefighting crews managed to control the fire, but it caused significant material damage to the building.
