Dubai Police revealed a documentary video detailing the dismantling of an international gang's schemes and seizing one of the largest Captagon smuggling operations in the world, valued at over 3 billion dirhams. The film, published by Dubai Police on "X", showed thousands of containers aboard a giant cargo ship coming from an Asian country, among which were suspicious containers ready to dock in the UAE.
In the clip, a technical officer from the General Department of Narcotics Control stated, "We raced against time to identify these containers." Meanwhile, Major General Eid Mohammed Thani, head of the Narcotics Control Department, said in the video, "The amount of seizures was beyond imagination." He added, "The largest quantities in the world were crushed by Dubai Police in Operation Storm."
