Court Ruling Against Artist Mohamed Ramadan

An Egyptian court has fined artist Mohamed Ramadan 500,000 Egyptian pounds in a lawsuit filed by media personality Amr Adeeb for defamation. Amr Adeeb accused Mohamed Ramadan of insulting and defaming him on several occasions through his personal social media accounts. Adeeb had previously obtained a ruling fining Ramadan 300,000 Egyptian pounds in another case that was heard by the Economic Court, before announcing that artist Mohamed Ramadan had formally apologized to him.
