Bukhayb: Humanitarian Ceasefire in Gaza Necessary but Insufficient

Foreign Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bukhayb, confirmed during his meeting with the Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal Al Thani, that "the world is called today to stop Israel's contempt for international humanitarian law by its attacks on hospitals in Gaza, especially the Jordanian Field Hospital and Al-Shifa Hospital, as well as on medical teams, patients, and newborn infants, putting their lives all at risk." He considered that "the United Nations Security Council's decision calling for a temporary humanitarian ceasefire is a necessary step, but it is not enough on the right path towards achieving a ceasefire and ending the aggression."
