Royal Decree for the Release of 1,018 Inmates in the UAE

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has ordered the release of 1,018 inmates from correctional facilities, who meet the criteria for amnesty, on the occasion of the state's celebrations for the 52nd National Day. The order for release reflects the president's "commitment to giving those released a chance to start a new life and bring joy to their families and loved ones." Relevant authorities have begun implementing all necessary procedures to ensure the return of those granted amnesty to their families as soon as possible.
