Intensive meetings are taking place at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to find a compromise between members of the educational community and executive mechanisms for the law regulating the educational body in private schools and organizing the school budget. Catholic schools are opposing this law and refuse to comply with the requirement to provide financial contributions in dollars amounting to 8% for the teachers' compensation fund in private education. Meetings will continue throughout the week, after which it will be determined whether the academic year will resume after the holiday break or if Catholic schools will continue their strike.
