A group of Syrian displaced persons has constructed a large camp for themselves on extensive areas of public property using concrete and metal, taking advantage of the delicate security situation in the south, as citizens flee their areas due to ongoing shelling. After more than one warning was issued to the Syrian displaced persons to vacate the camp they erected in the Sharnieh area of Tyre, near the northern tower, they refused to comply. Consequently, patrols from State Security - Tyre Office conducted raids on the camp, demolishing it and forcing its residents to leave, following the directive of the public prosecutor, Judge Ali Ibrahim.
