Lebanon Basketball Federation Calls Up 16 Players for World Cup Training

The Lebanese Basketball Federation has called up 16 players to begin training in preparation for the men's World Cup, which will take place in Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines from August 25 to September 10. Training will commence next Monday, July 10, led by the national team's coaching staff headed by national coach Jad Haj.

The names of the summoned players are: Ali Haidar, Wael Arakji, Jad Khalil, Ali Mezher, Ali Mansour, Amir Saoud, Karim Zainoun, Sergio Darwish, Youssef Khayat, Hayk Kiyokjian, Karim Azzeddine, Gerard Hidayat, Mark Khoury, Mark Khoury, Naim Rabi, and Omri Spellman.

Youssef Khayat will join the training on July 16, and Omri Spellman will arrive on July 26.

In this context, the Basketball Federation has established an intensive preparation program for the team, which includes training camps and friendly matches. The federation will issue subsequent press releases regarding the team's preparations.

It should be noted that the draw placed Lebanon in Group H with France, Latvia, and Canada, which will play their preliminary round matches in Indonesia.
