The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has confirmed that a plane carrying a second group of 98 Russian citizens evacuated from the Gaza Strip took off this evening from the Egyptian capital, Cairo, heading to Moscow. Alexander Korenikov, head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, stated regarding the ongoing evacuation of Russian citizens that "staff and psychologists are providing the necessary assistance, and specialists are working continuously." He added, "The operational group of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations will remain in the Rafah crossing area until the last Russian citizen leaves the Gaza Strip." The special flight carrying the second group of 98 Russian citizens is currently en route to Domodedovo Airport in Moscow. Additionally, Alexander Korenikov announced that Russia is ready to assist in the evacuation of citizens holding Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) nationalities who wish to leave the Gaza Strip.
