Army: 5 Israeli Maritime Violations Recorded in the Last 24 Hours

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement: "On 16/8/2023 at 22:00, a warship belonging to the Israeli enemy violated Lebanese territorial waters off Ras al-Naqoura by approximately 425 meters, where its personnel launched a flare and directed a searchlight for two minutes over the aforementioned maritime area before leaving on 17/8/2023 at 1:00. On 17/8/2023, from 5:20 to 6:00, another Israeli warship violated Lebanese territorial waters by approximately 260 meters off Ras al-Naqoura. Between 6:33 and 8:17, a similar hostile vessel violated the aforementioned maritime area by approximately 315 meters. Between 7:58 and 8:12, another similar hostile vessel violated the area by approximately 185 meters. Between 9:28 and 10:30, a similar hostile vessel violated the same area by approximately 185 meters. The issue of these violations is being monitored in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon."
