The Somali Army announced on Saturday the elimination of 18 members of the terrorist organization "Al-Shabaab" during a security operation in the Lower Shabelle region of southern Somalia. Local media reported that the national army, in collaboration with "Friends of Somalia International," conducted a planned military operation in the areas of Beled Amin and Beled Crème, following information indicating that elements of the "terrorist youth militias" were secretly gathering in farms in these areas.
