UAE Foreign Minister Meets Palestinian Official in Abu Dhabi

The Emirates News Agency reported today, Thursday, that Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Hussein Sheikh, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, in Abu Dhabi, where they discussed international efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The agency stated that both sides also addressed the humanitarian crisis in the region and ways to protect civilians and preserve their lives. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the urgent importance of pushing for a serious political horizon to resume negotiations for a comprehensive peace based on the "two-state solution," which contributes to establishing foundations for stability and achieving sustainable security in the region.
