Today, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported that Turkish authorities have arrested 33 individuals on suspicion of involvement in espionage activities for the Israeli intelligence service (Mossad), adding that the search continues for 13 others. The agency stated that the police carried out simultaneous raids at 57 locations across eight provinces as part of an investigation launched by the anti-terrorism office of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Anadolu noted, without citing sources, that the suspects were believed to be seeking to monitor, surveil, attack, and abduct foreign nationals living in Turkey as part of "international espionage" operations.
