Hezbollah announced that it targeted the Birket Risha site, achieving direct hits. The statement read: "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Birket Risha site with rocket fire at 9:30 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, and achieved direct hits." Israeli media reported that injuries from the targeted site in Birket Risha were transported to Israeli territory.
