Discovery of Part of Prigozhin's Plane Two Kilometers from Crash Site

A part of the plane that crashed in the Tver region north of Moscow yesterday, which was carrying the founder of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was found about two kilometers from the crash site. This was reported by the "Novosti" agency early this morning, indicating that "the discovered part is located at the entrance of the village of Kozhinkino, approximately two kilometers from the crash site, and the police have cordoned off the area."

The agency also mentioned that "a traffic police post has been established on a rural road near the entrance of Kozhinkino, and police have blocked a part of the road adjacent to the field at the village entrance, requesting cars to turn around without specifying the reason for the road closure."

The Russian civil aviation authority reported last night that "there were ten people on board the crashed plane, including three crew members," noting that all of them died. It confirmed the presence of Prigozhin and the second-in-command of the Wagner Group, Dmitry Utkin, on the plane.

The Russian federal air transport agency has opened an investigation into the plane crash, while the Russian Investigative Committee has also launched a criminal investigation into the incident.
