Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian stated that "the leaders of the resistance will not allow the Zionist entity to take any action in the region," and that a preventive action is expected in the coming hours. Abdullahian, in remarks reported by the "Arna" agency following a meeting with his counterparts from Islamic countries, emphasized that "if the Israeli regime continues to commit war crimes against civilians, then any action is possible." He said, "We are about to conclude that if the limited and intense opportunities provided to the United Nations are not utilized, the possibility of opening new fronts against Israel is inevitable." He warned that "the time for American messages is running out," calling for an end to the killing of children and women in Gaza. The Iranian Foreign Minister confirmed: "We do not command the resistance forces in the region; they make their own decisions." He added, "If the war crimes continue and the world does not witness an immediate end to those crimes, new fronts will be opened." In response to a question about whether Iran would engage in war, Amir Abdullahian stated, "Any possibility is possible. I emphasize that no side can be indifferent to the continuation of this situation." He noted that "the expansion of the war in the region will lead to a change in the map of Israel." He stated: "All options and scenarios are possible for Hezbollah. The leaders of the resistance will not allow the Zionist regime to take any action in the region. Any preventive action is expected in the coming hours." He concluded, "If we do not defend Gaza today, we will have to defend our cities."
