Josep Borrell, the European Union's foreign policy chief, urged Israel on Thursday not to let anger blind it in its response to the attack by the Hamas movement last month, stating that "one horror does not justify another." Borrell continued, saying: "I understand your anger, but let me ask you not to be blinded by it; I believe this is what Israel's best friends can tell you." Borrell made his comments during a visit to Israel, where he spoke alongside Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen after the two men visited the Be'eri residential area, a focal point in the October 7th attack.
