The President of the Francophone Ambassadors Group and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Lebanon's Ambassador to Ghana, Maher Khair, was honored with the "Distinguished Ambassador of 2022" award during the 13th edition of the Executive Entrepreneurs Awards and Summit in Ghana for 2023, organized by the "Entrepreneurs Foundation" in Ghana (EFG). The event was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Palace, Frema Osei-Opare, Minister of Trade and Industry Kobina Tahir Hammond, Minister of Public Works Joseph Kudzor, and other dignitaries.
The award was given to Ambassador Khair in recognition of his numerous efforts across various contributions to cultural, social, humanitarian, and Francophone initiatives, as well as for fostering economic relations between Lebanon and Ghana.
