Civil defense members worked this morning to tow 8 cars and rescue citizens trapped inside them due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall. They assisted them in continuing their journeys safely in Amchit-Jbeil. Additionally, civil defense personnel towed two cars and rescued citizens trapped inside them due to flooding from the heavy downpours, helping them proceed safely on the Fidar-Jbeil bridge. Furthermore, civil defense members pumped water out of two apartments in a residential building due to the intensity of the rainfall in Batroun and Jbeil. The damages were limited to material losses.
