Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced today that the country's international reserves have reached the highest level in its history, exceeding 145 billion dollars. The Anadolu Agency reported Erdogan stating: "The reserves of the Central Bank of Turkey record a historic high of 145 billion and 456 million dollars." In recent times, Turkey's reserves have reached historic levels several times; on December 8, 2023, the Turkish Central Bank's reserves rose to 140.1 billion dollars. Thus, the reserves have increased by 5.356 billion dollars from December 8 to today.
