The Bahrain Travelers' Association has awarded Emirati traveler and journalist Ibrahim Al-Dahli honorary membership. On Thursday, the association's president, Mr. Ahmed Abdulrahman, recognized Al-Dahli in the capital, Manama, as the first Gulf citizen to receive this distinction. During the award ceremony, Abdulrahman noted that Ibrahim Al-Dahli was granted this honorary membership "due to the role the Emirati traveler has played in promoting tourist culture over the past years, through his travels to nearly 200 countries around the world." Al-Dahli was also honored last year with honorary membership by the Saudi Travelers' Association, being the first Emirati to receive this recognition.
