Israeli army spokesperson Admiral Daniel Hagari announced today, Friday, that more than 100,000 residents of the Gaza Strip have fled south in the past two days as Israeli forces conduct operations "deep in the city of Gaza." Hagari stated in a press conference broadcast on television that efforts are underway to release hostages held in Gaza, but he noted that such efforts take time. He explained, "We are working all the time and taking the initiative on a range of efforts to bring back the hostages. These efforts are complex and not the end. They take time and will take time."
