German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated today that the existence and protection of Israel "is undeniable," but she called for more humanitarian ceasefires in the conflict. She said, "There should not be an occupation of the area thereafter." Speaking to reporters alongside her Luxembourg counterpart Xavier Bettel, Baerbock also warned "of the danger of the conflict expanding in the region."
