The Jordanian army announced today, Tuesday, that it killed three drug traffickers in an operation that thwarted an attempt to smuggle large quantities of drugs across the border from Syria. It indicated that it seized 233,000 tablets of Captagon, a mixture of amphetamines, and quantities of hashish during the operation.
