The Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported today, Friday, that the Hamas movement used children's dolls that speak Hebrew in an attempt to lure Israeli soldiers into ambushes during the Gaza war. The newspaper added that Hamas fighters placed some dolls for children and, at times, dolls of adults near openings of tunnels. These dolls emit speech in Hebrew and sometimes cry, and by using loudspeakers, their sound reaches beyond the immediate area to deceive Israeli soldiers into believing there are hostages present. The newspaper published a number of dolls and children's bags that Israeli forces allegedly found in Gaza, as well as loudspeakers.
