## Beirut Municipality Removes Violations and Encroachments on Streets and Sidewalks

The Public Relations Department of the Beirut Municipality reported in a statement that "based on the constant directives of the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Aboud, regarding the removal of all violations and encroachments on public properties throughout the city of Beirut, the Traffic Department of the Engineering Department of the Beirut Municipality, with assistance from the Beirut City Guard, has removed all forms of encroachments on the streets and sidewalks, including both fixed and movable obstacles, as well as unauthorized stalls and carts spread along the streets from the Barbary area, Al-Maqsad, Al-Sabeel, Danna, Sabra, and the adjoining streets, Sabra Public Square, reaching the Sports City and its branching streets." The Beirut Municipality had previously removed several violations in the Mar Mikhael area. It is noteworthy that "the campaign to remove violations from the city's streets will continue and will not stop, covering all neighborhoods, squares, and streets of the capital, in order to maintain the city's civilized appearance and facilitate the movement of citizens in their city without any obstacles."
