Today, Thursday, the Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received the Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Rashid Belabaki, at his office in Yarzeh. He also met with the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Major General Aroldo Latharo, discussing cooperation relations between UNIFIL and the Lebanese Army. Additionally, Aoun welcomed Ms. Sirilata Rayo, Head of the Peacekeeping Evaluation Section at the United Nations, leading a accompanying delegation. He also met with a delegation from the Knights of Malta, discussing various affairs.
