A fishing boat sank in the Abda Sea in Akkar due to strong winds. It was later retrieved, and water was pumped out by the marine rescue teams of the Civil Defense, with no reported injuries. Rescue teams from the Civil Defense's marine unit and nearby land centers managed to recover the sunken boat after two hours of effort. The boat was pulled and returned to the harbor.
