EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell indicated that "the bloc will propose to its governments to impose sanctions on extremist settlers committing acts of violence against Palestinians in the Israeli-occupied West Bank." He stated this in a press conference today, following a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels: "We will work on a proposal to impose sanctions on extremist settlers in the West Bank."
